About the desk

ChargebackDesk is an independent concierge service that assembles Stripe dispute evidence packets for sellers of online courses, coaching and software. A person checks every packet against the merchant's own records, and the merchant submits it in their own Stripe dashboard.

Who runs it

The desk is run by its founder, Dheeraj Kumar. His name is the one that appears on every packet: the line "Checked by Dheeraj Kumar, founder" is printed only from the per-packet sign-off record, after he has read the packet against your source files. There is no sign-off line on a packet nobody has read.

ChargebackDesk is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Stripe, Inc. Stripe is a trademark of Stripe, Inc. Company details (legal entity, notice address, jurisdiction) are listed in the Terms and in the footer of every page.

How a packet is made

1 · Your exports arrive

From your Stripe dashboard and your platform (course platform, licensing server, app logs), you send the dispute record, the receipt, and your delivery/usage logs. We never ask for your password or your secret API key — today the service works from exports only.

2 · The packet is assembled, AI-assisted, under human review

Assembly is AI-assisted: case materials pass through a commercial AI API while the packet is drafted, under terms that do not allow training on your data (see Privacy Policy §4). The draft is a short factual narrative, an evidence index where every exhibit names its source, the exhibits themselves, and a "what is NOT included — and why" section. It is checked against the minimum-evidence checklist for its dispute category.

Then a person reads it against the source files. If every fact traces to a listed source, the sign-off is recorded and the packet is delivered. If your records don't meet the minimum, we refuse the case, name the missing item, and charge nothing.

3 · You review, you approve, you submit in Stripe

You confirm every fact matches your records. If anything is wrong, we correct or withdraw the packet. Nothing is submitted without your approval: on today's exports-only service you submit in your own Stripe dashboard and send us the confirmation. The outcome is read from Stripe's dispute record, never from a self-report.

The rules we work to

  • Refuse, never invent. If the evidence isn't in your records, we refuse the case and tell you what's missing — we never invent, reconstruct, or "improve" evidence. A refused case costs you nothing.
  • Exports only. We never ask for — and will refuse — your Stripe password, your secret API key, bank credentials, full card numbers, or access to your inbox or helpdesk.
  • Your approval, every case. Nothing is submitted without your explicit approval of that case.
  • Deadlines are the product. We need your case at least 4 days (96 hours) before Stripe's evidence due-by date; with that margin the packet arrives at least 72 hours before the deadline. Inside 96 hours we decline rather than gamble with a deadline that loses the dispute automatically if it's missed. If we accept a case and miss the 72-hour delivery, our fee on that case is $0.
  • Your data is for your packet only. Case files are deleted within 30 days after the case closes. We never sell them and never use them to train AI models (Security & data).
  • Our fee is 20% of what you recover, charged only if you win. If you lose or we decline, our fee is $0. Stripe's own dispute fees are separate. The full service agreement is published with its version and hash.

A new service, stated plainly

ChargebackDesk is a new service, and your dispute could be one of the first cases we take. We will not show you logos, testimonials, or win statistics, because we have none yet. What we can show you is the work itself: a complete sample packet, the exact checklists we apply to every case, and a free checker that grades your evidence before you commit to anything.

We do not guarantee outcomes. Issuers decide disputes, and honest packets sometimes lose. What we promise is the work: sourced evidence and complete threads, delivered at least 72 hours before the deadline when we get the case at least 4 days (96 hours) ahead — or a refusal that tells you exactly why. If we accept a case and miss the 72-hour delivery, our fee on that case is $0.
